Axe Care Guidelines

• For regular use: Lightly oil the blade from time to time with a quality gun oil (e.g., CLP, Rem Oil, Ballistol). If you plan to use the axe for any food-related tasks, use a food-safe mineral oil instead. Wipe away excess oil before storing to protect both the blade and the leather sheath.

• For decorative use indoors: Oiling is not necessary.

Storage Tips

• Always store the axe in a dry place.

• Short-to-mid-term storage in the leather sheath is fine indoors, as long as the blade is clean and dry.

• For long-term storage (years without use), store the axe outside the sheath to avoid trapped moisture that could cause rust.
